The meeting was a great opportunity for all projects to review the scope of their work towards the Mission objectives to create added value and increase the impact of EU funding. Several important topics were raised and discussed in detail, including the ways of reducing overlaps in the harmonisation of the research methods and models to enhance science and policy outcomes, cooperation on research capacity building, and organisation of exchanges with citizens, including patients. The preliminary results of the collaboration as well as the future steps within each WG were presented and analysed. All projects had an opportunity to engage with HaDEA representative Marianne Da Silva, who provided extensive and clear answers to all unclarities the projects had. The same format of the meetings will maintained for the upcoming annual cluster meeting, with the ThermoBreast hosting on the third year of the project’s duration.
