ThermoBreast publication from Technion partners: "Leveraging Latents for Efficient Thermography Classification and Segmentation"

Exciting news from ThermoBreast! We are thrilled to announce that our partners from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Tamir Shor, Chaim Baskin, and Alexander Bronstein, have had their research paper published. The paper titled “Leveraging Latents for Efficient Thermography Classification and Segmentation” was presented as part of a poster presentation session at the Medical Imaging with Deep Learning (MIDL) conference in Paris from July 3-5, 2024.

The MIDL conference is a premier event in the field of medical imaging, bringing together deep learning and medical imaging researchers, clinicians and healthcare companies from around the world to share their latest advancements and innovative approaches. The ThermoBreast project was proud to be a part of this prestigious conference to showcase the groundbreaking research conducted by our partners from the Technion.

The publication, available on the online platform Arxiv, presents a novel algorithm for both breast cancer classification and segmentation, resulting in important implications for the early detection of breast cancer, a cause that ThermoBreast is deeply committed to.

ThermoBreast is proud to be at the forefront of cutting-edge research in the field of medical imaging and is committed to using technology to make a positive impact in the fight against breast cancer.
